Is Naples Low Housing Inventory a Trend? September 2014 Newsletter

The August NABOR market report shows that low inventory was a strong factor in the decrease of pending and closed sales activity in the Naples Beach Area condominium market.  This hot area experienced a 28% decrease in available inventory. The low inventory contributed to the 31% decrease in pending sales and 23% decrease in closed sales compared to August 2013.

Overall pending sales for single family and condominiums decreased 11%.  But will this trend continue?  Brokers agree that we will have to see if low inventory continues in the coming months. Traditionally, new listings come to market late Fall and January.
