Cheers to Naples!

Cheers to Naples!

It’s that time again to light up Naples!  Literally.

What a great and wonderful surprise when my husband and I experienced our first Christmas and winter season in Naples over 20 years ago.  Yes, there is snow. We make our own on Fifth Avenue during the Tree Lighting ceremony for all to enjoy.  We illuminate Palm Trees short and soaringly tall, entry areas to all the communities, the  Botanical Gardens and festive  boats that have paraded up and down Naples’ Gulf of Mexico for 25 years spreading holiday cheer. Not sure, but I think our award winning Ritz-Carlton Hotel has the only homemade gingerbread house that you can walk into; it’s in their lobby and made from over 1,000 gingerbread bricks.  Don’t miss Palm Cottage, the oldest house in Naples (1895) that is illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights.

So I say Cheers to Naples!

As we celebrate the festivities, what are we saying CHEERS with?

Brazil is known for its caipirinha, France for chamgagne, Germany (and others) for beer, Miami toasts with a Miami Vice.  Hmmmm – so what do you think is Naples’ choice?

We will take a poll and share it in the next Newsletter.

cheers to naples
